The Harrisonburg TURKS defeated the Woodstock River Bandits Saturday night in Woodstock with a 4-2 decision. Oklahoma City University, Junior, Mike Mlotkowski, made his first appearance for the TURKS and posted 6 strike outs, 4 hits, 3 walks, 1 unearned run and 1 earned run in 7 innings. Another newcomer, Andrew Webber from Southern Illinois University, came in to get his first save as a TURK, posting 1 strike out, 2 hits, and 1 run. Offensively the TURKS scored 4 runs on 8 hits with 3 errors. Gered Mochozuki continues to produce at the plate going 2-4 and scoring 2 runs. The TURKS (4-1) are at home Sunday night against the Front Royal Cardinals (2-3). Game time is 7:30 p.m. We want to remind everyone that Friday, June 18th is "Boys and Girls Club Night".
