Turks Rained Out …. AGAIN

07/22/2009 – Turks Tidbits

Woodstock, VA – For the second night in a row, the Harrisonburg Turks have been rained out on the road.

Tonight’s game at Woodstock was called off after three heavy downpours. The River Bandits’ field was under water and it was decided that it couldn’t be prepared for play. The make-up date hasn’t been set yet but will be determined tomorrow and posted on our web site.

Tuesday July 21st game against the New Market Rebels was rained out also. The game has been rescheduled on Friday, July 31st @ New Market. Tomorrow, Thursday, July 23rd. the Turks will return to Covington. The first game will resume in the 11th inning with the Turks up to bat, with one out. The Lumber Jacks are ahead, 6-5. At the conclusion of Game 1, the next game will begin play. The Turks return home to Long Field, Mauck Stadium on JMU’s main campus on Saturday against Woodstock and Sunday against New Market. Game time is 5:00.
