Turks Meet and Greet Breakfast at Chick-fil-A

Summer league baseball teams couldn’t make it without the loyal support of local businesses.  Without having an advertising budget the Turks depend on getting involved in community outreach to introduce themselves and lure fans out to the ballpark.

Chick-fil-A of Harrisonburg has partnered with the Turks for a number of years now.  This morning the Turks attended a Meet and Greet Breakfast at Chick-fil-A.  They met some fans, signed some autographs, and passed out Turks pencils and Chick-fil-A balls.

The hit of the morning was when RHP Dillon Ortman (Auburn) read for the weekly Chick-fil-A Story Time group.  Dillon may be a “Tiger” on the mound but he showed his soft side today as he mesmerized a group of little Turks fans with his reading talents.

It was a morning enjoyed by all.  The Turks have a new slogan … “Eat More Chickin” !
