The Harrisonburg Turks Week Four player of the week is Jonathan Pryor. The Turks spent most of the week at home, and Pryor delivered for the home crowd. The Demon Deacon went 12 for 22 for a .545 average in six games, accumulating 12 hits, three doubles, a triple, and his first home run of the season.
Batting in the three spot in the Turks lineup, Pryor drove home a team best 10 runs, slugged .909 and multiple outfield positions had no errors. Pryor was the catalyst that helped the Turks to a 5-1 record in week four, and has been steadily improving week to week as he has developed into the Valley League’s leader in batting average.
