Walls Returns for a Second Summer in the Valley Baseball League

Caleb Walls, a 5’10” 195 sophomore outfielder from Pasco Hernando State College will be patrolling the outfield at Veterans Memorial Park for the Turks this summer.

Walls is familiar with the VET and the Valley Baseball League as the State College, PA native played for the Covington Lumberjacks last summer where the left-hander posted a .321 batting average, 26 runs, 44 hits, 4 doubles, 1 home run, 15 RBI’s and 14 walks in 137 at bats. Walls had a .387 on-base percentage and a .372 slugging percentage.

Walls played at George Mason University before transferring to PHSC. This spring Walls has been productive for the Bobcats with a .262 batting average, 8 runs, 11 hits, 2 triples, 5 RBI’s, 8 walks, and 5 stolen bases. He has a .385 on-base percentage and a .357 slugging percentage.
