Turks Add to Their Pitching Staff

Over the past week, a pair of pitchers have signed with the Harrisonburg Turks, as the team is set to begin their 2021 campaign one Sunday, June 6th at Veterans Memorial Park.

Ciuffetelli comes from Oregon where he is in his third season with the Ducks baseball program. A native of Irvine, California, Ciuffetelli saw limited action this spring, pitching in four games for the Ducks, striking out seven hitters in 5.2 innings of work. The 6’2 right-hander was the 48th-ranked player and 17th-ranked pitcher in California by Perfect Game coming out of Servite High School, where he pitched to the tune of a 0.65 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 65 innings as a senior. For his efforts, Ciuffetelli was named the Trinity League co-Pitcher of the Year and made the Orange County Register’s All-County team.
