The TURKS lost to the New Market Rebels 6-5 on Sunday night in the thirteenth inning. On the offensive end, Cliff Pennington had 3 hits followed by Daniel Brooks and Bret Smith with 2 hits each. Their performances, however, weren’t enough to stop the Rebels, who tied the game in the eighth inning by scoring 3 runs. Dan Batz and Kevin White both had one homer a piece to clinch the victory for the Rebels.
