The TURKS lost to the Staunton Braves 6-5 on Wednesday night despite a solid offensive performance. The TURKS had 10 hits to Staunton’s 7 but were unable to pull off a victory against the Braves. Moises Duran and Jeff Van Houten led the TURKS offense by hitting 3-for-4 and 2-for-3 respectively. E.J. Shanks pitched 7 innings allowing 5 hits, 5 runs with 5 strike outs. Grant Hansen closed the game tallying 2 hits, 1 run and 2 strike outs.
