The Staunton Braves put their previous day’s loss behind and came out strong against the TURKS. The Braves had 10 hits for the night while the TURKS only earned 5. Jeff Van Houten led the TURKS with 2 hits. Derek Tate pitched 7 innings tallying 10 hits 2 runs and 6 strike outs. The Braves won the game 2-1 and are now back to the number one ranking in the southern division.
