06/09/2009 – Turks Tidbits

The match up between the Harrisonburg Turks and the Fauquier Gators will have to wait until another night. The skies opened up and dumped an unbelievable amount of rain in an hours time, and was accompanied by thunder and lightening. Enough bad weather to make it impossible to get the game in at JMU’s Long Field Mauck Stadium. The make up game will be announced shortly. The Turks will return home tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 10th against the Luray Wranglers. Game time is 5:00 p.m. at Long Field on JMU’s main campus. Everyone come out and support your Harrisonburg TURKS!
