Eight Turks Selected in the 2009 MLB Draft

06/13/2009 – Turk Tidbits
The Harrisonburg Turks are proud to announce that they had six of their alumni and two members of the current team to be selected in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft this week. It was an honor to have these young men as a part of the Turks organization during their college years. We extend best wishes to them in their professional baseball careers. It will be a pleasure watching as they mature and continue to improve their game and hopefully climb the ranks and eventually make it to “The Show”.
