INF Adam Bryant had a stellar hitting weekend as Troy University swept New Orleans, 3-0. Bryant went 2-5 during Friday’s match-up as he homered in three runs making him the team leader with 12 home runs. In Saturday’s game, Bryant cranked out a two-run triple. Troy’s head coach, Bobby Pierce, recalls Bryant’s hit as the “back-breaker” and the Trojans won the game 15-0. Finally in Sunday’s game, the Trojan’s had 17 players at the plate in inning 5 as Bryant went 4-6 with one RBI. Overall, Bryant has a .359 batting average with 56 hits, 13 doubles, 6 triples and 39 RBIs. In the field, Bryant has a .990 fielding percentage with 65 PO, 133 assists and 2 errors.
