8/4/2010 – Turks Tidbits

Game 2 of the 1st round of the VBL playoffs was rained out tonight. The Turks and the Winchester Royals will face off tomorrow night in a make up game at JMU Veterans Memorial Park. Harrisonburg holds a 1-0 advantage in the best of three series.

Only Valley Baseball League passes are accepted for the playoffs. However, we hope that since so many of our fans have enjoyed being our guest throughout the whole season via Little League passes, Massanutten Regional Library Reading Program passes and sponsors’ single game passes, that you’ll come out to the ballpark tomorrow and help cheer the Turks on to advance to the quarterfinals!
