Congratulations to Turks RHP Justin Somers (Wintate U.) for being selected as Turks Player of the Week.

Somers threw a complete game four-hitter in his only outing of the week to help keep Harrisonburg at the top of the VBL standings. Somers, from Wingate University and Wilmington, N.C., had nine strikeouts in the complete game 5-0 victory over Staunton on Thursday, June 16th.
