Harrisonburg, VA – This morning Turk players delighted preschoolers reading books about big and small animals.  Catcher Eric Mason (Saint Josephs), second baseman Mark Lumpa (Duke), and short stop R.J. Peruki (Texas San-Antonio) attended Story Time at Massanutten Regional Library downtown Harrisonburg.
The players sang songs, did crafts and signed autographs for the youngsters after reading to them.  They passed out Turks pencils and schedules while inviting families to come out to the Harrisonburg Turks games.  The Turks partner with MRL and their summer reading program providing prizes to encourage students to read throughout the summer.
