Head Coach Bob Wease has been burning the phone lines of colleges across the country recruiting and putting together another exciting and talented Turks team for the Harrisonburg fans.  Coming off of an outstanding 2012 season and winning the Valley Baseball League’s coveted Jim Lineweaver Championship Cup puts pressure on Coach Wease to once again find talented college players that will mesh and give 100% on the field in the tough competitive Valley Baseball League.

Coach Wease is once again using his connections with top baseball colleges to recruit.  Wease is fortunate to have former Turks players that have established coaching careers in D-1 schools across the country.   Wease isn’t ready to release the 2013 roster yet as he is waitin for the contracts to be returned.  However, the 2013 team will once again have players representing Auburn, Duke, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Texas San Antonio,  and Wingate to name a few of the schools.

Wease will return as the Head Coach for his 13th season.  Assistant Coach Luke Yost will be returning for his second season with the Turks coaching staff.  The other positions are still being considered.
