STRASBURG – Starting pitcher Patrick McGavin allowed three runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings to help Strasburg defeat Harrisonburg 5-3 in a Valley Baseball League game Tuesday night.The Express improved to 12-15; the Turks dropped to 22-8, ending a four-game winning streak.Chris Perkovich drove in three runs for Strasburg. Four Express relievers held the Turks hitless over the last 3 2/3 innings.

Thomas Spitz of Wingate and Thomas Smith of Georgia Tech each had two hits for the Turks.
