Meet the 2015 JMU Dukes

 Michael Evans is a sophomore pitcher at James Madison University. During his freshman year for the Dukes, Evans led the team in  appearances and games in relief (26). In his first career victory, Evans pitched three scoreless innings and recorded four strikeouts  against Binghamton. So far during the 2015 season, Evans has notched 4 saves , a 2-3 record with a 4.26 era. in 25.1 innings of work.  He has given up 23 hits, 12 earned runs, 17 walks and 32 strike outs.

 

 

 Tucker McCoy is a freshman pitcher for James Madison University. McCoy is a local that played for Spotswood High School and was  nominated twice for the first team Valley All District  award and collected all region honors his junior year. Also during his junior year,  McCoy held a 7-2 record with an impressive 1.66 ERA  and 54 strikeouts in 59 2/3 innings. As a freshman at JMU McCoy ha a 1-3  record with a 6.75 era in 16.0 innings of work. He has given up 21 hits, 12 earned runs, 7 walks and 11 strike outs. JMU is currently 12-  21 and 2-10 in the CAA Conference.
