The Harrisonburg Turks have announced the addition of Oklahoma City University catcher Joe Lytle to the 2015 roster. Lytle, who hails from Yukon, Oklahoma, just completed a stellar freshman season with the Stars in which he led the team in batting with a .381 average. In his 57 games played and 56 started, Lytle also tallied 3 home runs, 52 runs batted in, 49 runs scored, 11 stolen bases and a .947 fielding percentage from behind the plate. That performance earned him a spot on the All-Sooner Athletic Conference First Team as a designated hitter. Lytle will look to carry over that success when the Turks season begins on Friday, June 5 at the Covington Lumberjacks.
