In a week where the Turks were 5-0, the pitchers truly took charge and were all vital to the Turks success.

Congratulations to James Ziemba for being named Week 3 Turks Player of the Week. Ziemba’s 5-inning, rain-shortened no-hitter was the icing on a pretty sweet cake.

Turks pitchers recorded a miniscule 1.54 ERA led by Ziemba (Duke), Kale Morton (Arizona), Jared Datoc (Georgia Tech), and Tyler Brown (Wingate) who allowed no runs.

Jordan Meyer (LaSalle) and Kale Morton recorded their first wins while Carlos Chavez (Oklahoma City) improved to 3-0.

At the plate, Tyler Straub led the offense hitting .444 and driving in 4 runs.
