The Valley Baseball League regular season has come to a close for the Harrisonburg Turks and the playoff picture has become much clearer.

The Turks finished the season at 29-14 following a 3-1 loss to the Staunton Braves in Monday night’s tiebreaker game. Staunton (30-13) earns the top seed in the South division with the Turks slotting into the second seed. The Waynesboro Generals (22-20) take the third seed while Covington and Charlottesville will battle it out for the fourth and final spot on Tuesday night.

Front Royal (1), Strasburg (2), Aldie (3) and Woodstock (4) make up the playoff field in the North division.

Harrisonburg will therefore go head-to-head with Waynesboro in a three game series in the first round of the playoffs. The tentative schedule is as follows:

Location: Kate Collins Field in Waynesboro
