Joining the previously profiled Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket players is right hand pitcher Patrick Wiseman, who will be returning to the Turks this summer after a solid season last year.
The sophomore from Roswell, Georgia, Wiseman stands 6’5 and is 217 pounds. Patrick pitched 22 innings in 14 games last summer. He gave up just 11 hits, six runs, and walked just five while striking out an impressive 21 batters en route to a 3-0 record and a tidy 1.58 ERA.
Wiseman has surprisingly struggled with control for the talented Yellow Jackets this season and appeared in just two innings, allowing two hits and walking eight. Patrick knows success and the valuable innings this summer can help him get back to dominance. In high school, Patrick was a standout, leading his high school to a state championship his senior year while winning a school record 11 games and being named Region Player of the Year. Hoping to regain last summer’s form, the Turks welcome Patrick back to Harrisonburg!
