Turks second baseman Bryan Arias had a very solid season at the University of Texas San Antonio in 2016.  To say he continued the trend as a Turk is an understatement.

Arias batted .484 (15 for 31) over the first 7 games with 3 HR and 8 Runs batted in.  Bryan and returning Turks shortstop Tripp Shelton have also paired up like old friends for a potent double play combination.

Arias will be a Sophomore in the Fall and has a bright future ahead on and off the baseball diamond.  First Baseman Greg Popatak (George Mason) also got off to a strong start as has Greg Paprocki (LaSalle) on the mound.  Way to go guys!  Congratulations Bryan on the first of 8 weekly awards.
