Congratulations to John Gregory for being named Turks Player of Week 3. The rising Longwood sophomore John Gregory proved to be a serviceable weapon in the closer role for the Turks last week. The left-handed pitcher fired six innings of relief without allowing an earned run, while striking out 10 and picking up two saves. When coupled with Davis Kirkpatrick, a dominant right-handed pitcher, Gregory provides the Turks with a frighteningly effective back end of the bullpen. 

On the season Gregory has pitched 19.2 innings with a 1-0 record and 2 saves posting a 2.74 era.
