The Harrisonburg Turks welcome Marcus Rodriguez to our coaching staff for the 2018 season. This will be his third season in the Valley Baseball League. He assisted Coach George Laase with the Staunton Braves last summer and he played for the Braves in 2016.

Coach Laase says, “I’m incredibly excited to have Marcus join me on the staff in Harrisonburg. Marcus is one of the hardest working assistants that I ever had with  me in the dugout, and there’s no doubt in my mind with the environment of the Turks organization, Marcus’ baseball knowledge and experience will be a huge asset.”

Rodriguez began his college baseball career at Long Beach Community College and later transferred to West Virginia Tech for the 2016 and 2017 seasons. He continues at WV Tech as a student assistant while he finishes his sports management degree.
