New Orleans Assistant Coach Brett Stewart, a 2007 Turk himself, is sending two of his right-hand hurlers to Harrisonburg this summer, Kyle Arjona and Rafe Schindler. Arjona is a 5-10 195 pound junior from Cape Coral, Florida is playing in his first full season with the University of New Orleans after transferring from Florida Southwestern. Arjona has started 10 of his 17 appearances this season with a record of 3-5 with an ERA of 5.27.

Schindler, a 6-4 180 pound freshman from Chalmette, LA appeared in 15 games with 2 starts for the Privateers. He has a 2-2 record with an ERA at 3.44. He was ranked as 30th overall high school baseball player and 9th overall pitcher in the state of Louisiana by Perfect Game.

The Privateers are currently in the midst of the Southland Conference tournament and are 27-30 on the season.
