The Turks welcome Kevin Mintz, a left handed pitcher from the UNC Wilmington Seahawks. The 6-2  175 pound Mintz was a red-shirt freshman this season. As a senior at Ashley High School in Wilmington he pitched 41 innings with 82 strikeouts and finished with a 3.76 ERA. For his high school career Mintz had a 5-4 career mark, striking out 120 in 61.2 innings.
