Wingate Head Coach Jeff Gregory is very familiar with Turks baseball after spending his 2005 summer as Assistant Coach  and he has honored that relationship by sending quality baseball players to Harrisonburg over the years.  We welcome three Wingate Bulldogs to the 2020 roster. 2019 outfielder, Jed Bryant returns for his second season and he brings LHP Riley Edwards and catcher Logan McNeely with him.

Jed Bryant, a 5-11 190 pound junior outfielder is from Lexington, NC. He’s a Health and Physical Education major. Bryant had an impressive 2019 season at Veterans Memorial Park. We’re looking at Riley Edwards as one of our relievers on the pitching staff. The left-hand pitcher is a
6-2, 225 pound, junior from Hickory NC. His major is Math Business . Edwards pitched 14.1 innings with 14 strike outs for the Bulldogs last season.
