A Trio of Freshmen from Elon to Play for the Turks

We welcome a trio of freshmen from Elon University to play at Veterans Memorial Park this summer for the 2020 Turks.  We look forward to an exciting summer of Turks baseball with these three Phoenix.

Liam Dabagian is a left-hand pitcher from Media, PA.  He stands 6-0 and is 175 pounds. He played at Malvern Prep School.

Ian Evans is a right-hand pitcher from Lockport, NY. He is 6-3 and 187 pounds. Evans was a four-year varsity starter, a Team Captain, and received Team MVP honors. He earned All-League, All-WNY, and Scholar-Athlete honors.  He was a 2017 Sectional Semi Finalist and received 2018 All-Academic honors. Evans earned Coaches Award as a freshman and sophomore. In 2018 he posted a 0.866 ERA.  Evans excelled both on the field and off. He received Honor Roll and Merit Roll honors and was enrolled in the 2018-19 National Society of High School Scholars.

Alex Iadisernia is an outfielder from Jackson, NJ. He is 5-10 and 185 pounds. Iadisernia was a six-time Perfect Game All-Tournament Team selection and Underclass Honorable Mention while playing for Baseball U. As a junior, he received First Team All-Shore, First Team All-Group 4, and Third Team All-State selections while helping his team win the 2018 Class A South Championship and the South Jersey Group 4 Championship.
