Bohm Joins the Turks

The Turks welcome 6-1 1/2 227 pound Andrew Bohm from Purdue. The right hand pitcher sat out his freshman year due to Tommy John Surgery from an injury he sustained his senior year of high school. The red-shirt freshman has had 10 appearances with 3 starts for the Boilermakers this season. Bohm has been productive in 22.2 innings of work on the mound with an overall record of 2-0 and an ERA of 4.76.

Bohm will be joining his Purdue teammate, catcher Bryce Bonner, in Harrisonburg this summer.

The Boilermakers are currently playing in the Big Ten tournament and have a strong 34-18 record and look to push on to the College World Series. Purdue’s Head Coach Mark Wasikowski played third base for the Turks in 1992.
