Despite a solid offensive performance, the TURKS were unable to pull off the victory against the Staunton Braves on Wednesday night. Jeff Van Houten hit 3 for 3 for the night and led the TURKS with 2 runs. Will Harris of the Braves hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the seventh to put the Braves up by one. The TURKS were unable to find their desired offensive push in the eighth as they ended the inning with 0 hits and lost the game to the Braves.
