The TURKS were unable to pull off a victory against the Waynesboro Generals on Sunday night making them give up their top spot in the southern division to the Staunton Braves. The TURKS had 5 hits against the Generals but couldn’t convert them into runs. Second baseman Cortland Wilson led the TURKS offense by hitting 2-for-3. Luis Cortez pitched all 8 innings tallying 8 hits 8 runs and 6 strike outs as the TURKS fell to the Generals 8-0
