Luis Cortez pitched 7.2 innings tallying 6 hits, 2 runs and 4 strike outs as the TURKS went on to beat Covington 4-2. On offense, David Londrey hit 3 for 4 followed by Cliff Pennington and Moises Duran who went 2 for 5. The TURKS are now a game behind Staunton in the southern division rankings.
