Valley Baseball League Expands to Ten Teams

The Valley Baseball League has expanded their league to ten teams with the addition of Loudoun County to the Northern Division and Woodstock to the Southern Division. The Loudoun Rangers will play their games at Mickie Gordon Stadium in Middleburg. Central High School will be the home of the Woodstock River Bandits. With the addition of these teams, the season has been expanded to a 44 game regular season schedule. Friday, June 4th the 2004 season opens with Loudoun hosting Front Royal, Woodstock at Harrisonburg, Covington at Waynesboro, and Staunton at Luray.
