11/22/04 – VBL

The VBL has released it’s official 2005 schedule. The season opens on Friday, June 3rd. The league plays a 44 game schedule with the regular season ending on Tuesday, July 26th. Play-offs will begin immediately after all regular season games have been completed. The top four teams in each division will qualify for the play-offs. The format is as follows:

1st Round (best of 3 intra-division series) #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3

2nd Round (best of 3 intra-division series) First round winners play for the Division Championship

Championship Round (best of 5 series) Two division winners play for the Jim Lineweaver Trophy

In the first and second rounds the highest seeds will host games 1 and 3. In the Championship round the highest seed will host games 1, 3, and 5.

All ten of the VBL teams are vigoursly recruiting the top college players from all across the country. If you are a coach wanting to place any of your players, check out the VBL web site directory to get contact information for all of the teams.
