OCU Harrigan First Team NAIA All American

6/01/2006 Oklahoma City University OCU Catcher Brandon Harrigan,a junior from Sedalia, Colo., made the NAIA All American First Team. Harrigan hit .405 with 11 home runs and 68 RBIs. Harrigan ranked first on the Stars in batting average and runs driven in and second in hits. Fellow OCU team mate, Ryan Rachal,a junior from Norman, Okla., made the team as an honorable mention. Rachal hit .389 with 12 homers, 49 RBIs and 14 steals. The Stars, ranked eighth in the final NAIA poll, were 50-12 this year. OCU won the SAC title for the fifth time in six years and got to 50 wins for the eighth season in a row. Harrigan and Rachal are also team mates on the Harrisonburg Turks of the Valley Baseball League in Virginia this summer. The Turks want to congratulate these young men on an outstanding college season and look forward to their continued success this summer.
