Jarrett Out for the Year Sean Jarrett (Harrisonburg 05), off to an excellent start at low-A Asheville, is out for the year after injuring his elbow. He will need Tommy John surgery. Jarrett finished his short season at 0-1 (5 saves), 1.15, 0.96 WHIP, 2.3 BB/9, and 6.9 K/9. He will be out for about a year, depending how quickly he progresses through rehab. This won’t help Sean’s career, obviously, because he’s already 24 and still in low-A…but looking on the bright side, sometimes pitchers actually gain velocity after TJ, so who knows? Good luck with the surgery and rehab, Sean!
