Fauquier, VA – Center fielder Jon Moore (Purdue) had a two-run single in the top of the fourth inning to lead Harrisonburg over Fauquier 6-2 in a rain-shortened Valley Baseball League game Wednesday. The visiting Turks improved to 21-8; the Gators fell to 7-22. David Klumpp (Arkansas-Little Rock) pitched five innings, struck out five, allowed four hits and two earned runs for Harrisonburg. First baseman David Dennis (Oklahoma City University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run double for the Turks. The Turks are back at home tonight hosting the Staunton Braves.
