OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City University left fielder David Mann has been named Sooner Athletic Conference baseball player of the week for April 7-13. Mann, a sophomore from Albuquerque, N.M., hit for the cycle against St. Gregory’s on Friday, highlighting a week where he batted .545 (12-for-22) with 11 runs, two home runs, two doubles, two triples and 10 RBIs. He also carried a 1.091 slugging percentage for the week. For the year, Mann is hitting .400 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs. The Stars, ranked fifth in the NAIA, take on 17th-ranked Texas Wesleyan at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Jim Wade Stadium
