Written By Andy May, Broadcasting Intern Bridgewater College Harrisonburg- The Harrisonburg Turks were on a four game winning streak and seemed to be on a roll until they met the man by the name of Mickey Wiswall. The Turks hosted the first-place Winchester Royals at Veterans Memorial Stadium and the Royals took an immediate 1-0 lead. Wiswall (Boston College) started the night off with a double and did not look back as he finished the night going 4 for 5 with two home runs, a single, a double, and four RBIs. Jim Kennedy (Rider) was on the mound for the Turks going seven innings striking out eight and walking one. Another pitchers duel began as lefthander Andrew White (Charleston Southern) pitched a solid game for the Royals picking up the win while only striking out one. The Royals began icing the cake in the fifth inning as Wiswall belted his first of two home runs to put Winchester up 4-2. Aaron Dudley (Toledo) was also 2 for 3 with one run scored capping off the 14-hit Royal attack. Drew Johnson (San Francisco) continued his hot streak for the Turks going 2 for 4 with two singles. Brett Stewart (Appalachian State) was 2 for 3 and Michael Precise hit his third homerun of the year in the loss. The Harrisonburg Turks (6-10) travel to Woodstock to take on the River Bandits (2-11) while the Winchester Royals (10-4) host the Fauquier Gators (8-4).
