Fans, I encourage you to take a few minutes and visit John Leonard’s web site, www.allthingsvalleyleague.typepad.com to read his interview with Woodstock player Gary Kahn. This will give you a great idea of what a summer in the Valley Baseball League and playing summer baseball means to these young men that come to our beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I don’t know Gary personally but what an amazing, well balanced, and focused young man he must be. Being a part of helping players like this during their journey of "following their dream" is much of what summer baseball is about for our team organizations.
