Thomas, 266/320/400 over 443 at-bats during the year, exploded during the playoffs, going 14-29 with 8 runs and 7 RBI in 7 games. "It’s just a great feeling to know all the hard work we put in the season and offseason is paying off," Thomas said. "I’m just speechless. A lot of people didn’t think we could make it this far, so it feels really good." Thomas hit 241/336/319 for Bob Wease in 2005, while adding in 16 stolen bases. He was third-round choice of the Chicago Cubs in the 2007 draft.
