Redshirt Freshman Outfielder Earns Weekly Honor

Mac Williamson is this week’s King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons, redshirt freshman outfielder, Mac Williamson, has been named the King Fisher Society Student-Athlete of the Week. The award is sponsored by the King Fisher Society, seeks to honor a student-athlete who has excelled both on and off the field as a Demon Deacon.

A native of Wake Forest, N.C., Williamson is hitting .250 on the season with three home runs and 21 RBIs. Williamson ranks in a tie for second on the team in RBIs and is tied for fourth on the squad in homers.
