Congratulations to Harrisonburg Turks RHP, Drew Granier, U. Louisiana Monroe, for being named as the Valley Baseball League Pitcher of the Week and also as the Turks Pitcher of the Week. This is Grainier’s second nomination for both accolades. Drew had a 1.00 ERA last week, pitching a complete nine inning game against Luray and leading the Turks to a 3-2 victory. Grainer allowed only one walk and one earned run with a VBL league-best 13 strikeouts.
