First baseman Greg Popatak of George Mason University earns the Turks Week Three Player of the Week Award.

Over the past seven days Popatak is tied for the team lead with 10 hits, belted four home runs to give him the Valley Baseball League lead with five, drove in nine runs, and hit .370 in eight games played. Popatak was a major catalyst in the Turks six consecutive victories, and held steady as the second best Valley Leaguer in terms of batting average. He is third in the league in RBI’s, and tied for the league lead with 25 hits after his huge week three. Congrats on an outstanding week of Turks baseball Greg!
