Freshman LHP/1B John Gregory hails from Mechanicsville, VA  and a graduate of the baseball powerhouse Hanover High School is the sole representative of the Longwood University Lancers on the Turks roster this year. As a senior Gregory was ranked Perfect Game’s seventh left-handed pitcher in Virginia, was named to the VHSL Group 4A All-State First Team at first base, was selected to all-conference first team and all-region team as a senior after batting .510 for the season. Gregory pitched 32.0 innings with a 1.89 ERA and hit .289 his junior season, and batted .354 his sophomore season. Welcome to Harrisonburg John!
