A Pair of Western Kentucky Hillhoppers Returns to Harrisonburg

The Turks want to welcome back a pair from Western Kentucky; Bailey Sutton and Jack Wilson. Red-shirt Junior Bailey Sutton, a 6’3” 185 pound RHP from Louisville, KY will be a great addition to our pitching staff. During his first season pitching for WKU, Bailey tossed 31 innings and collected 30 strikeouts. He was 1-of-2 WKU pitchers who threw 10-plus innings and did not allow a homerun. Bailey joined the Turks the last part of the 2018 season and threw 3.2 innings and collected 4 strikeouts. We are looking forward to Bailey returning to our squad!

Also returning for another season is Jack Wilson, a 6’2”, 220 pound senior infielder from Bowling Green, KY. Jack recently transferred from John A. Logan College where he had 172 at bats in the 2018 season and collected 54 hits, scoring 47, with 12 doubles and 14 homeruns! He had a .314 average and a .974 fielding percentage where he turned 12 double plays! Jack also joined the Turks late in the 2018 season where he played 1B, and had a .286 batting average over 21 at bats. We are looking forward to Jack returning for another great summer season!
