Jared Donalson and Hayes Stills will be joining the Turks pitching staff this summer.

Donalson, a 6-2 190 pound right-hand pitcher from Albany, Georgia, has spent the last three years pitching at the collegiate level for Georgia Southwestern State University. In the 2020 season, he made seven appearances and two starts going 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA in 22 innings pitched, a marked improvement from the previous season. Nicknamed “JD”, Donalson was a four-time All-State and All-Region selection at the Terrell Academy in Dawson, Georgia, where he also played basketball. Growing up, he idolized Chipper Jones, who played for the Atlanta Braves from 1995-2012.

Stills, is in his first season with Georgia Southwestern State, playing alongside fellow Turks teammate Donalson. He feel in love with baseball at the age of three, and has played the game ever since. Standing at just 5’11 and 130 pounds, Stills never lets his size be a deterrent. In four years at Cairo High School, Stills led the Syrupmakers, to two 20-plus win seasons and two region titles, and was tabbed as an All-Region selection his junior year.

The Turks welcome these two pitchers to Veterans Memorial Park for the 2021 season.
