General Information
This season is turning out to be very exciting because the Valley Baseball League has decided to break up the league into two divisions again this year. The Harrisonburg Turks will be residing in the South Division. We will be competing against the Tomsox, Lumberjacks, Generals, Braves, and Cavaliers. With this change travel time has been greatly reduced between ball parks and we encourage all for our faithful fans to join us at all our games, both home and away. You can find addresses to the other ball parks on our VBL Ballparks page or by clicking the event on our calendar.
What does this mean for playoffs?
As the reining champions this year I am sure all of our fans are curious as to how playoffs will work. Both divisions will have a wildcard playoff game to determine who gets the wildcard. Then divisions will begin their three day division series (July 27-29, pending weather of course). Once the North and South Division Champions are determined, those winners will play in the VBL Playoffs. We look forward to seeing what the Turks can do this season.

Home: Pre-Season Scrimmage vs Woodstock

The Turks are excited to announce our pre-season scrimmage on May 29th at 6pm. Join us as we take on the Woodstock River Bandits at Veterans Memorial Park. Take this time to check out our team, buy new merch, meet up with your favorite staff, and much more! Concessions will be open with a limited menu available. Ticket prices are the same as last year's prices: $5 for an adult, $3 for a senior, and children 12 and under are FREE when accompanied with a paying adult.
You can also take this time to get first access to all of our brand new merch. From hats to shirts we have everything you need to cheer on your favorite team. Everything is available while supplies last, so purchase items while you can!
Come out and have some fun before the official start of the season. Hope to see all of our faithful fans there! As always.... GO TURKS!!

We are excited to invite all Girl Scout Troops in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County to our official Girl Scout night.
Game Details
The game will begin at 7:30 pm against the Culpeper Cavaliers. We encourage Girl Scouts to make some signs and be prepared to cheer on the Turks. There may even be a special appearance of Gill!
Meet and Greet
During pre-game, Girl Scouts will be invited to a Meet & Greet with the Turks players. All participating Girl Scouts should arrive by 6:15 pm. You are welcome to bring baseballs or other items for the players to sign. Our merchandise stand will also be open in case you would like to purchase some Turks gear.

Siblings 12 & under: FREE
Parents of Participating Girl Scouts: $3 each

Join us as we work to bring awareness to foster care in our area. When children are removed from their homes out of concern for their welfare, they are usually brought to the child welfare services office to await placement with a foster family. This wait can take several hours to nearly a full day. These children often have nothing with them and are scared, lonely, hungry, dirty, and in desperate need of love and support.
This year we are helping Isaiah 117 House bring awareness to the need in foster care and change the way foster care begins. Their mission is to reduce trauma for children awaiting placement, lighten the load for child welfare service, and ease the transition for foster families. Come out to our game on July 14th @ 7:30pm and learn how you can help ease the pain of children in foster care.

We welcome D.A.R.E. Officers and students to this game to show our support and spread the word about the good they are doing in the community. All D.A.R.E. students wearing their D.A.R.E. t-shirts will receive FREE admission as the special guests of the Turks.
This year millions of school children around the world will benefit from D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education), the highly acclaimed program that gives kids the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs, and violence.
D.A.R.E. was founded in 1983 and has proven so successful that it has been implemented in thousands of schools throughout the United States and many other countries. This includes the Harrisonburg Community Resource Unit.
D.A.R.E. is a police officer-led series of classroom lessons that teaches children from kindergarten through 12th grade how to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.

David Driver and Lucy Lusk Book Signing: David Driver and Lacy Lusk will be at Veteran's Memorial Park selling and signing their book "From Tidewater to the Shenandoah".

The Harrisonburg Turks Organization is joining #11 Jason Cheifetz and the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® in bringing awareness to Alzheimer's disease. In 2022, Jason recorded 72 strikeouts in his High School’s senior season and donated $5 per every strikeout to honor his Grammy who died that year to Alzheimer’s. In 2023, he struck out 20 batters for the Harrisonburg Turks in the Valley League. This year he is pledging to do it again as he spends his summer pitching for the Turks!
There are currently 7 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s Disease and 11 million unpaid caregivers. Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, Jason is raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
All educators with a valid name badge will receive FREE admission. Spouses and Family without a name badge will still have to pay regular price. Thank you to all of our educators.

Join us for Food Pantry Night on July 19th at Veterans Memorial Park. We strive to support the surrounding community and what better way to accomplish this task than to help those in need.
We are partnering with Corner Cupboard Food Pantry for this year's Food Pantry Night. Bring 4 food items (non-perishable items) and receive 1 free admission ticket for the game. Tell your friends and family to come out and help us fill the food pantry's cupboard with donations. We hope to see every one of our fans participate and help us help them fight hunger in our community.
