Meet the Baylor Bears
Aaron Dodson is a sophomore catcher/first baseman for the Baylor Bears. During his freshman year, Dodson started 42 games out of his 53 appearances and was named to the 2014 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. Dodson tied for first on the team with 9 doubles, second in home runs (3), and also added 16 RBIs. Thus far in the 2015 season, Dodson has .252 batting average in 111 AB with 15 runs, 28 hits, 4 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, and 15 RBIs.
Kameron Esthay is a redshirt freshman for the Baylor Bears. A four year letter winner in high school, Esthay was named to the 2013 Rawlings Southeast All Region Second Team. Esthay carried his high school team to the state semi-finals in his senior year and was ranked the number two prospect in the entire state of Louisiana. Now converted to the outfield in college, Esthay has a .280 batting average in 93 AB with 14 runs, 26 hits, 6 doubles, 1 triples, 2 home runs, 15 RBIs, and is 3-4 stolen bases.
Steven McLean is a utility infielder for the Baylor Bears. McLean was a four year letter winner at his high school in California. He was named to the first team all-league in his senior year in 2013. During his final season in high school, McLean hit .547 with four home runs and 12 stolen bases. This year McLean has a .211 batting average in 90 AB with 10 runs 19 hits, 6 RBIs and is 6-9 stolen bases. McLean was a defensive force for the 2014 Turks last summer. He had a .227 BA in 132 AB, with 21 runs, 30 hits, 6 doubles and 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 10 walks.
